In my current role I have developed a very slick GIS framework that allows me to process and mine geolocated data and then visualise it using Google Maps and / or google Earth. Currently I am using this framework to analyse performance (Rx & Tx) of satellite broadband terminals but this data can be substituted with any scalar data which is (or can be easily)  geolocated. Examples could be average rent for a 2 bed property (data harvested from gumtree & property agents) or contours of intensity of job openings vs UK postcode.

Having not sound a perfect opening to apply, I've selected the jobs in the cart which roughly correspond to my interests.

Deployment Specialists work with Google’s customers and partners to deploy Google’s Geospatial Enterprise products, primarily Google Maps API Premier and Google Earth Enterprise, and help create the tools and processes to support deployment.
You will provide technical deployment assistance and solution design to Google customers and partners. You will also work closely with Google engineers, product managers, the Geospatial support team, and pre-sales engineers to improve the product's vision and to make Google customers successful in deploying the product.
Extensive travel will be required (50% or more), including international travel.

• Work closely with Google customers and partners, both on-site and remotely, to design and implement solutions with Google Enteprise Geospatial products

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems

• Hands-on experience implementing geospatial solutions and mapping business requirements to product functions/features
